Welcome to my very first blog!

Hello Everyone!

It’s Natalie Vadelma here, and welcome to my very first blog! I’m so happy you’re here. "Vadelma Prints" has officially launched, and I couldn’t be more excited. This is a new artistic chapter for me—and I hope it marks the beginning of something truly special in the world of high-quality art prints. If you’re like me and have grown tired of questionable craftsmanship and a lack of real skill in art prints, then this is the place for you!

How did it all begin?

If we’re going back in time, the "Big Bang" theory might be the best way to describe the origins of everything. But Vadelma Prints came about a little later. The idea had been with me for years, but I wanted to make sure it was done right. Between developing my drawing skills, tattooing, and finding the right place to live, it took some time. Amsterdam, however, ended up being the place where I finally turned my dream of creating original art prints into reality.

Was it a coincidence that Amsterdam is where everything clicked? I don’t think so! There’s something magical about this city. When you start drawing or painting here, you quickly understand why so many of the world’s greatest artists created their masterpieces in the Netherlands. The light, the atmosphere, and the energy of this place are truly unique—it inspires you and urges you to work on your art.

The Perfect Storm

Over the past six months, I’ve been fine-tuning every detail—experimenting with different papers, sizes, techniques, and drawings. What you see now as the Essence of Vondelpark’s Nature and Holiday Edition is the result of all that work. As someone who is highly visual and quality-driven, it’s incredibly important for me to ensure that every element is just right for what I want to offer you, my potential customers. I would never sign my name to a print if I wouldn’t personally want it on my wall.

Maybe it’s the influence of my architecture studies, or the values I’ve carried from childhood—lessons taught by my parents—or even my experience as a tattoo artist. In the tattoo style I practice, there’s no room for mistakes, and that level of precision has shaped me in ways nothing else could. It’s probably a perfect storm of all those experiences coming together.
