Something different

Something different

Hello Dear Friends,

Today, I felt like writing something a little different. Not about a specific print — but rather about the idea of why we collect art, and what makes buying directly from an artist something so special and meaningful in today’s world.

A Different Kind of Beauty

We live in a time where it’s very easy to fill our homes with things. There are huge stores that sell endless prints and posters — always something new, always on sale. And while they may look pretty on the surface, they often miss something deeper. Something real.

Art that is created by a person, not a machine — you can feel it. It carries the quiet presence of human hands, of slow mornings spent mixing colors, of love for detail, texture, balance. Each piece has a little soul, and that’s something you can’t mass-produce. I know that many of them are in fact reproductions of real paintings, or even designs made with the collaboration of the artists, but somehow buying local or directly from a person is great. Especially that nowadays - everyone can build a brand and find their own clientele.

Connection Over Consumption

When you buy art directly from an artist, you’re not just purchasing an object — you’re beginning a relationship. You’re supporting someone’s dream, their story, their purpose. You’re helping keep something human and precious alive: creativity, independence, and the magic of making something from nothing.

And in return, you receive something truly rare — not only a limited-edition print, but a piece of someone’s inner world. You hang it in your space, and it becomes part of your everyday life, gently reminding you that beauty doesn’t always come from big factories or algorithms — it can come from a tiny studio, a quiet afternoon, a pair human’s hands.

 Collectable & Personal

At Vadelma Prints, every print is made in small editions, often no more than 99 pieces. Each one is signed, packaged, and sent by me — sometimes with the help of my husband, who is my biggest supporter. This means your piece is truly unique — not just another product off a shelf.

It’s art that holds value not just in how it looks, but in how it was made, and by whom. And I truly believe that in the future, people will crave more of that: the handmade, the intentional, the kind.

Why It Matters

Choosing to buy directly from artists is a quiet act of care. It tells the world that you value craft, story, and authenticity. And more than anything, it helps artists (like me!) continue doing what we love. Your support allows more art to exist — and that’s something wonderful, I think.

Thank you for being here, for reading, and for making room in your life for something a little more soulful.

Wishing you a calm and cozy day,
With all my heart,

Natalie
